ReGroup is trained and certified through the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Homes Program (LEED-H), which is now internationally re-known for high-efficiency, high-performance, sustainably-designed and constructed buildings and homes. Home-buyers understand that LEED certification is synonymous with quality built homes that perform better due to rigorous third-party inspections and performance testing, leading to their certification as truly green homes. LEED certification is a voluntary process put into motion by homeowners that see the correlation between the increased energy savings and higher resale value of a LEED home. The LEED rating system is based on a four-tier system of qualifications including: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. Platinum is the highest achievable rating for a home and signifies an artfully designed, performance home. In order to achieve a qualification level, points are accumulated from the following categories:

  • Innovation in Design
  • Location & Linkages
  • Water Efficiency
  • Energy & Atmosphere
  • Indoor Environmental Quality
  • Materials & Resources
  • Advocacy & Education
